Training Schedule/Registration information
This 3-hour course concentrates on program, troop government, and girl/adult planning. It is required for all leaders, co-leaders, assistant leaders or advisors working with Daisy or Brownie Girl Scouts and must be taken by all leaders, co-leaders assistant leaders and advisors within 3 months of assuming leadership. Leaders/Advisors who are changing age levels must take the course within 3 months of taking the new position.
PREREQUISITE:
· Completed volunteer application, references and background check if a leader, co-leader, assistant leader or advisor
· Completed Girl Scout Ways Training
YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN ABOUT:
· The needs and characteristics of girls in your troop and how to address those needs
· Planning and setting goals with your girls
· Form of troop government most appropriate for your age level
· Progression in program
· Developing leadership skills within your group
· Recognitions appropriate for your age level and how to work with girls to earn them

This must be taken by two advisors within 3 months of assuming leadership. Leaders/Advisors who are changing age levels must take the course within 3 months of taking the new position.
