Registration How-To's

Registration

All trainings (with the exception of cookie training) require pre-registration (see form and link below).

Register as early as possible for each training event you would like to attend.  The decision to cancel a training is based on the number of participants registered at the time of the deadline.  (Deadline is usually 10 days prior to training.)

There are four (4) ways to register.

By mail: Fill out an Adult Training Registration Form and mail it (with fees, when applicable) to Volunteer Services Director, Girl Scouts-Mountain Prairie Council, 1600 Specht Point Dr., Ste. A, Fort Collins, CO 80525.

By phone: Call the Volunteer Services Director at 970-493-1844 or toll free 1-888-801-1269. Please be prepared to give all the information required on the registration form.

ALL training registrations must come to the council office in Fort Collins, no matter where the training is held.

You will receive confirmation a few days before the training by mail, phone or e-mail. If you don't hear from us, please contact the Volunteer Services Director (970-493-1844 or 1-888-801-1269). Registration for trainings that require a fee will not be processed until your fee is received. Decisions to cancel are based on the number of paid registrations.

Keep in mind that trainings may be offered only once near your community. We encourage you to take trainings in other areas of the council.

Financial assistance is available for any course requiring a fee. Contact the Volunteer Services Director for more information.

Cancellations and refunds

The decision to cancel a training is based on the number of participants registered at the time of the deadline.  (Deadline is usually 10 days prior to training.) If minimum registration (usually six participants) is not met by the deadline, the training will be cancelled. Trainings may also be cancelled due to trainer illness, weather, or other circumstances.

If trainers cancel a course or change its location, we can notify only people who have registered.

We will refund fees for courses cancelled by trainers.

Fees are forfeited if you cancel within ten working days of the training and do not find another person to take your place.
